Awesome, key sequence was the problem.
My 2007 2.2 LS had remote start
My 2011 2.4 2LT doesn’t, darned Hertz rental car fleet!

I have an aftermarket auto start kit in my stuff out in the garage, wonder if that will work on yours?

I guess you don't have an owners manual ?
I think Donbrew can hook you up with a download version.

Yes, there is one in the car. Ive been going through it learning all the "quirks" of setting the dash, radio and all else, Just didn't see the auto start section yet. I noticed the front section of the dome light isn't lighting up so may be a burned out bulb? need to see how to pop that cover off....

For 2008 MY AP3 does mean remote start.
Since you didn't read the instructions your next problem will be the remote start does not work everytime. That is because all doors must be locked before the lock start sequence. It is safer to Lock Lock Start.

Of course, starting a new thread for a new problem is a good idea. I ignore threads that keep growing after I know they have been resolved.

What relay? You asked about the piece of plastic that covers the seat track ends.

Oh, now I see that you used the same title for different threads.

Do both red wires off the relay connect to the red/wht wire ?
