Now on to the door lock issue. It has slow moving door locks ( except when putting it park) The passenger side is slower. My mechanic friend tells me to unhook the battery for 24 hours, maybe the BCM will re-learn ? He says to try it before buying door lock actuators.
But he wonders if it will affect the radio anti theft device. Any Ideas?... john
Remove the door panels and insure that the plungers are in the channels that they are supposed to be in. Sometimes they wander out. It's really a just an area that has slick plastic stuck on the inner liner. No worries about the radio, mine was unhooked all day while I was replacing the head airbags to my surprise all of the pre sets were still there, but the clock needed to be reset.

But resetting the BCM will not do anything for the door lock actuators. Maybe the RCDLR, but not the actuators.

Thanks Donbrew & 843. What my buddy was thinking that the long term memory is affected after 24 hours and the radio might think that it has been removed from the car (or stolen)
He said if that happens you have to enter a code that you get from the dealer.
I will try inspecting and lubing things. I understand the left and right sides get their signals from different sources, and that would explain why pushing the fob once on the drivers side and 2 or 3 times on the passenger side unlocks the doors.
Hey 843, hows Bob 2 coming along? Is it going to be Hugger Orange, that cool new Goldish Orange or HHR Orange?...john

two clicks is normal..first opens the drivers side..2nd click opens the rest..security feature so no one can climb in another door while your entering the drivers side..

Drove to the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford Va yesterday. It is impressive, if you are ever in that area you owe it to yourself to stop. They have a guided tour that takes about 45 mi. I will try to post a pic or two tonight.

Today I installed my new DEPOs, all new LED lighting except the headlight bulbs and shined the tires.
