What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
New water pump, the 2011 is more work than the 2008 was. Maybe I'm just older.
Found a few more things for everyone to worry about.
The plug on the T-Stat housing had a pin hole in it! Spraying coolant out, sucking air in. $2.80 part from GM (Ebay).
There is a tiny ground wire (28 gauge) from the injector harness to the driverside rear of the valve cover. It would be very easy to break or forget to re attach. Looked important.

Thanks. As a matter of fact, it is. I lived in Mi for about 12 years before the Navy. Most of it was in Davison(right next to Flint), with about a year in Waterford. Mi has less stringent laws, no emissions testing, and no front plate, so I figured I'd keep it registered there.
OUTSTANDING JOB!

did a little seafoam Saturday in my SS, swapped out the plugs and gave her an oil change. Cant say the seafoam did a lot, and i wasnt expecting a lot, but it feels more stable so to speak, more fluid when giving it the gas. all in all a very easy job, just getting the air cleaner off was the biggest pita. gotta stop by a stealership and get some new rubber gromets for the air cleaner base, mine were cooked! 53000 miles
