Please Help- 2006 Chevy HHR

Today my HHR decided that the Speedometer and Gas gauge would just stop working. How can this be fixed?

I would suggest a code read and have your battery load tested at your local AZ or O'R store and double check the ground wires under the hood and the fuse box halves are tight, don't forget the two positive terminals under the hood one has a red cover the other has a black cover be very careful not to short them out to any grounded parts !

Thanks! Very much, it turned out to be a great turn out of many old friends I haven't seen for years , she was always there for all of us, sad but time marches on an someday someone can't keep up! It is normal for all of us , but still sad when death takes friends and family!

So, today 19F degrees and a light snow fall, Old man Winter still has a hold on us!
