What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Today for the first time, I changed my engine air filter and my cabin air filter. Thanks to the how to posts both were quite simple. I saw I had slight seepage from the wind shield wash pump and I could see the coolant level markers for the first time.
The air cleaner housing was seated on the grommets but after a short drive, the passenger side popped loose. Pushed it down again and it reseated.

IMO it depends on the vehicle usage, if the windows are up and air is circulated in the vehicle, I would expect it to need changing more often. I check all my filters once a year, and they either get a cleaning or replaced. I don't think any of my HHR's had ever been changed prior to me buying them, they were real bad! They all have between 100k and 120k on them (miles) on them.
PS that is a sweet ride you too!

I change my cabin filters every 12 months regardless of how many miles I've covered, and I've had excellent results with FRAM "Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filters" Part# CF10361.
They keep out diesel truck fumes better than the others I've tried, and with my son's Asthma, the cleaner the cabin air...the better.

Cleaned/polished the headlights with the Mequires kit. Looks a lot better. The yellow haze is gone and the headlights are crystal clear again.
If you have never used it the kit has 4 little sanding pads of different grades, polishing pad for drill and polish for after the sanding. Will have to make sure I keep wax on them to keep them nice.
