What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
today is fight for insurance on the phone day, not from any hail damage on the HHR, but my health insurance for my long term disability. no further rants on that subject.
as for my HHR, I will go out and clean the interior later on this evening after sunset.

Glad to hear that the Blue-Mobile escaped any storm damage Steve, sorry to hear that the health insurance etc. is a screwed up in Canada as it is here.
As for the "what" I did with mine, had an 0700 appointment with the Flight Surgeon to make sure the loss of my voice and awful sore throat weren't the start of something serious.
So the '06 had a pre-dawn wake-up call, and backing up in front of the glass doors at the Surgeon's office confirmed my supposition when the Cruise Control wouldn't engage. Two segments of my CHMSL have burned out, they're the original bulbs, so nine years and 352,000 miles ain't too shabby. I'll replace them all over the weekend.
Laryngitis is the diagnosis, "stay off your voice and you're grounded until Monday" are my instructions, so my pilots and line crews will be getting lots of text messages AKA Mike 'O Grams for a few more days.
My wife seems to be reveling in the quiet at home, hmmmm.

Oh it's not the government health insurance, but my company benefit health insurance.
funny my wife loves it when I ever come down with laryngitis. she likes to call it Silence of the Steve, and plays Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

Paid some stupid tax in not using never seize when I put on my snows last season.
Had a bad case of snapitis!!!
New studs for the rear. Just did all 10 on the rear. 7 suffered snapitis.
Only one died on the front end but in getting it out I found a socket missing since my last addition of new rotors and pads..
So kids learn from Uncle Foxy . Always lube up and Always count your tools..
Oh and anyone needing a Torque wrench Canadian tire has 2 Stanley Fat Max Tw's on sale this week.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics

Recall Repairs
I took my HHR in to finally have the ignition cylinder replaced. It only took a couple hours and I got to drive a 2015 Equinox for the day which was cool; although, I was happy to get my car back at the end of the day. I think GM has handled the recalls well.
@ Snoopy . Not sure where you see cardboard. There are yellow painted stripes around my parking spot in the last pic and those blue shop towels catching most of the brake dust and Seafoam Deep Creep drips.
