What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Oldblue I am lucky I have all my hair so right now I am letting it grow for Locks of Love, they use the hair to make wigs for children with cancer.
On subject, yesterday I put two new tires on the front and rotated the front tires to the back that got rid of the last two of the original Firestones. While changing the tires they discovered that the front brakes were worn almost to the metal so I had to have that done. I was somewhat aggravated as the care was inspected 4,000 miles ago in May and it should have been caught then. I am going on a trip in two weeks so it had to be done now. I also had the oil changed. They did wash it for me but today it is raining

Moved the '06 to "higher ground" at 8am, the infield here at Charlotte Motor Speedway is becoming "Lake Charlotte" and by the time I slogged out to the Trucklet, the water was getting mighty close to the rocker panels.
Good 'ole Weathertech floor mats, I looked a bit like a swamp creature after squishing my way to the Daily Driver, but the muck is confined to the drivers side floormat.
Michelle wondered why it took two hours to move the HHR and get back to the R/V, it takes time to drive anywhere in rocker panel deep water at an absolute crawl so as not to create a "bow wave" and damage the Trucklet, then the 3/4 mile walk back in the rain and mud took a little time too.
Glad I didn't give in to Dusty's desire to come along and "help Daddy", he's 3 weeks shy of his third Birthday and I'd prefer not to have him vanish into a puddle, and he gets heavy after a while so carrying him would have done my back in. Right now he's on the steps of the motorhome in his Winnie the Pooh raincoat sailing paper boats that Michelle made for him. Funny thing that, in the 11 years since our first date and nine years of marriage...I never knew she could make such cool paper boats.
Now getting our rented R/V out of here before things dry out, that could get mighty entertaining.(Think towtruck, or the U.S. Navy)
We're looking at a 100% chance of rain, so folks are just killing time and splashing around while NASCAR decides to postpone the Bank of America 500 until tomorrow...or issue the drivers and teams with wetsuits.

Dusty turns three on November the 1st Ron, since he never did the "Terrible Two's" thing, maybe we're going to have the "Terrific Threes" to look forward to.
Wow a Great Grandpa eh, cool!
I'll be over 65 when Dusty graduates from College, so becoming a Grandpa might be in the cards, but I'll be just a faded photo in an album by the time Great Grandchildren come around.
