Thanks guys! Let's remember to Crank It tonight at 6pm!

Today just a run to the store and gas station, maybe a stop for a car wash.

My usual post . . . of my speedo.
130013 for the red wagon.

Need to go to the tire shop and have tires switched
to a different set of wheels. I bent the b.l.e.e.p out of the
right front recently.

Consider it Cranked!

Michelle just said OK to my pleading for the equivalent of Ralphie's Red Ryder BB Gun in "A Christmas Story".

I'm getting a BendPak XPR-9F-LP two post lift for the barn/shop building on the farm we bought, once my contractor pours the mounting pads to BendPak's engineering specs, the lift will be installed by March.

No more jack stands, no more jacks, no more creepers and sore backs, yippee!!

Oldblue, enjoy your drive and I'll be seeing you two in approximately three weeks, more details TBD on Monday.

Sorry to hear your RF got its Bleep bent Dw, one of those "Sneak Attack" potholes get you?

A car lift is the #1 must have item as we get older. Those days of laying on the ground under the car to work on it are over! Congrats on your purchase . You will never regret it.

Drove up to Canada yesterday and picked up the 18" Pontiac rims. They are in great shape now to find some tires and pickup some LED bulbs for the interior.

Yup Dw, that's sure an ex-rim, did that come with the damage to your front clip or did I miss a post about your Red Rocket suffering a bit of accidental automotive "Rhinoplasty"?

Thanks lasater, the lift isn't cheap, but I've wanted one for 35+ years now. And you're so right, the passage of time has taken any "fun" out of scooting under the HHR's and their garage mates with a creeper or sheet of cardboard.

I sure won't miss that "special kind of pain" you get when in the process of retrieving that ******* socket which just rolled out of reach and banging your head on the subframe, floorpan, exhaust, etc.

I spent several hours yesterday taking a friend from England around to different locations of N&W and Virginian tracks, most good photo points, alas not a single train all morning. We also scouted out the Belt Line which is being donated to the VMT and when rehabilitated will be used to have train rides. All and all a good day.

Mike , that will be uplifting both to your herd of HHR's and your back muscles!
Ron keep looking for some neat trains, it'll be fun to go for a ride when they get that track rehabilitated!
DW it looks like a bit of dent repair and fender alignment is in order, to fix that deer dent!

Today is an R&R day, we may take a drive in the countryside to get some eggs, turkey and bacon!
