Yeah Mongo, we both dated ourselves there, I won a raffle when I was eight to ride around the track with Joie Chitwood Jr. on two wheels in a Nova.

I never had motion sickness before, or since, but 1/2 mile in a Nova on two wheels had me tossing up my hot dogs and cotton candy.

P.S. Consider that image e-mailed to Shell Oil Oldblue, that'll look really cool on your gas card!

One of last year's co-Winner's had his HHR put on his gas card and it was totally cool, sadly we lost CJ in September, I hope one of his family members saved it as a remembrance.

So I replaced my spark plugs, air filter and cleaned out the air intake manifold. The air intake was really gunked up bad. The flap was actually stuck half way open and couldn't move freely. My plugs were in really bad shape too. They were pretty burned up. I was long overdue for a plug change. There is definitely a little more giddy up and go and I had a slight knock when I was idle that I am not feeling anymore but for some reason I am noticing that the temperature gauge is a little higher than normal. My coolant is reading about 215°F and I am used to it being just under 200°F. Any ideas what's going on? My coolant level is good by the way. I've also been experiencing a strange noise when cold starting my HHR and I was hoping it was going to be fixed when I changed the plugs but unfortunately I am still experiencing it. Any ideas what could be causing that?

The first thing I would check is the water pump. How many miles on it?

Starting up cold check the timing chain tensioner.

Today a venture out into the -2 degrees F to push the snow off the driveway!
