Well in this lousy heat wave here in Ohio, I got the HHR out for a trip to Indiana to the meat market this morning. First time outa the drive since we picked up the Burban. Now tonight after 60* yesterday,, we have 2" of snow, and 23* right now with a low of 19* for the morning,,, enjoying before a return to the mud and 50's this weakend, been a lousy winter here for a guy who hates Florida!

My Hood panel came yesterday and I got it down to storage...they shipped inside a plywood box, fully enclosed and it weighed 28 pounds...took me forever just to get it out of the box.

I have also decided at add to the stable...another HHR for my daily driver since it seems I've made the Panel "Too Nice" for such things. I'm looking for a white panel or half panel...just found a really nice blue half panel but it had 140,000 miles on it...a couple red SS's but if I got one of them I wouldn't want to drive it in the salt either. I think a white Panel is probably what I'm looking for...got almost enough cash now so am starting to watch the ads on Craigslist and Auto Trader in the Southern cities...

Took L'il Blackie for a 150 mile round trip to the river at Waterville Ohio yesterday in the unseasonable heat wave before more seasonal weather returned. Stretched her legs a little and let Carter, my German Shorthair run a little.

Today, we're off for a leisurely cruise up Hwy 6 to Wasaga beach, a town in the south shores of Georgian Bay. Got my trusty Code reader at the ready in case of the pesky P0420.

Drove Paddy to the Oncologist yesterday, I'm in Remission, and as long as I don't do a "Polly Parrot" in the next five years, I've beaten the cancer.
