Ordered TTR sway bar and KYB shocks. Also ordered new hub bearing for all four corners (120k) and Powerstop brakes for the front. Can't wait for the install. Also noticed a small 'clunk' in the steering wheel while pulling into a parking spot. From what I've heard here it is repairable. I love my "Toughy".

Check the rear LCA bushings, swaybar bushings, swaybar end links and ball joints all could be suspect.
Just retorqued the axle gland nuts, it cured a small noise I heard whilst reversing then driving forward.

For those with hazy headlights, WipeNew (as seen on TV) really does work as they show it.
I did not want to believe it as I thought it was 100% snake oil, but my wife insisted we spend the $10 to get some for her 11-year-old Kia.
I was flabbergasted when it actually worked.
Looked fantastic and we are now six months later and they still look great.
Seriously. Spend the $10 at the dollar store and try it.

Thanx Blue. You are a great source of knowledge. I'm also looking at replacing the whole front end, output shafts. LCA. and steering unit, sway bar links
and struts. I might as well as I plan on keeping 'Toughy' for awhile.

I dont know why but I find powerwashing the driveway to be one of those somewhat serene and satisfying tasks.
Today just drove to work like I always do. The other night after moving and neglecting to check my tire pressure for nearly a year (I know) I checked and sure enough all four tires were low by nearly 5 PSI. Aired up and I was reminded how important tire pressure is for ride comfort and handling. I was stupid to assume that the tire shop visits (4 over the past year) would make sure the pressure was correct when they had the car but I guess that takes too much time! Especially when performing a free balance and rotation.

I worked part time in HS at a gas station. I would check everything under the hood if asked. Tires too. Then wash the windows. We've lost a lot with self serve stations. I imagine the elderly would appreciate the old ways.
