What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
It was Doctor day today, my blood test results are in, so off to his office!
Well I still have the red stuff coursing thru my veins!
Blood sugar is within control thanks to my meds.
The ticker is ticking, a little off but ticking just the same.
It's been 3 years since my by-pass surgery, still in the DL and probably will be for life.
Doctor has me fill out the forms, he signs them and sends me to the license bureau, and it's official, I now have the disabled parking ticket for the HHR.
Yikes, I recall getting one for my Mom after her heart issues, she said she felt so old, I said it's the way things are, so we just deal with it.
I still feel old, but realize it's nothing to do with age, but my health and my ability to do certain things and my disability to do others!
At least for now, I'm still able to drive!

I dont know why but I find powerwashing the driveway to be one of those somewhat serene and satisfying tasks.
Today just drove to work like I always do. The other night after moving and neglecting to check my tire pressure for nearly a year (I know) I checked and sure enough all four tires were low by nearly 5 PSI. Aired up and I was reminded how important tire pressure is for ride comfort and handling. I was stupid to assume that the tire shop visits (4 over the past year) would make sure the pressure was correct when they had the car but I guess that takes too much time! Especially when performing a free balance and rotation.

Got my new TWM M1 polished shift knob yesterday and threw it on. Nice and shiny!! My original satin finished M1 I had gotten used w/ a short shift kit but it had tiny dings in it from the original owner's ring. Love the feel of metal in my palm even if it's freezing in the winter or burning in the summer!
Went out this morning to go to a Dr's appointment and then to visit my 94 year old Father (Friday is Dad's day....) No-start... Hmmm. Had dash power with all kinds of weird messages. Open the hood and find some squirrel tore up everything under the hood. Insulation on the firewall, wires, rubber bits, whatever it could get it's teeth and claws into....
If someone would shoot me now, that would be great.
