Yesterday’s trip was to Grove City Pa. for a graduation party for our niece Kaitlyn. 3 hours there and 3 hours back, a total of nearly 375 miles.
No oil sucked out of the valve cover, into the throttle body.
No bouncy ride, and no tire rub!
A great party too!

Stopped at a local store this morning and a gentleman asked me if I built my SS (as in home built hot rod) which I said no. He also said it reminded him of a PT Cruiser. Told him both body styles were created by the same designer.

Just went out to check ride heights, cement driveway to fender lips.
No I know it’s impossible to get everything lined up with the rear quarters literally custom made, cause new ones aren’t available. And the front fenders have been moved around up and down to close the gap between the fender and the hood.
But it’s close

Passengers rear , 27 1/4 inches

Drivers rear 27 3/8”

Drivers front 25 1/4”

Passengers front 25 5/8

215/55R16. Stock OEM suggested size. At 30 lbs like that sticker on the drivers door pillar suggests. I think that I’ll check on a flat level surface , I noticed the rear go a bit higher when I set the parking brake last night. That would explain the numbers for the rear.

Today a wash and detail after a trip to take MIL for cataract surgery this morning.

Since both the HHR and Cobalt are built on the same platform (chassis) I can't see a problem using the steel vs aluminium arms.
Do you have tire wear? Or steering problems?
No problem that ive noticed and tire wear seems even
