Well I see from my dumbness that there are no inserts for screws to go into like I thought. Holes and plastic is how the parts attach.
On another note, I again had a compliment on my SS. I really think it's the aftermarket wheels.
Sorry for the size of the picture. Again dumbness how to make it smaller.

I replaced the exhaust VVT actuator solenoid. Cranked and got a code. MAP sensor. I had forgotten to plug it back in. Then traction control service esc came up. Did the unplugged MAP sensor trigger this ? Or is it something else? I had replaced the intake a year or so ago. Would disconnecting the battery clear this?
Thanks

Well the problem solved itself I reset the code for the MAP sensor and took it out for a short run and so far all is well.
thanks

Ron
Just to clarify. Are you talking about the MAF and mistakenly wrote MAP ? (the MAF sensor is the one that is on the air filter housing.)

Just didn't want our members confused.

Sounds like it was the MAF sensor in the air cleaner snorkel.

Today was a ride over to babysit Willow and Hudson.

CatMan- No dumbness man. We all have to learn new stuff. I was wondering about those lil cap looking screws. If you lose one can you get any more ? Any decent glue would hold then in, JB Weld also.
I still like the look of those rims, waxing them, I would think would be a bit more involved.

Put the new Monroe struts on with the left side sway bar end link that I had not done yet. Rides like a dream now! Much better than any of the ones I test drove ! Slight left pull is gone ( I had already figured out it was because I only changed the right side link last weekend) :)

firemangeorge, Oldblue you all are correct it was MAF not MAP. I guess my mind played tricks when the reader said one thing I read another.
