I'm guessing it's for the brake lines. Very bad idea, unless it's copper/nickel.

yeep what ^^^^ he said... they are the copper/nickel brake lines. Rear lines were bad, seen them as I was removing the rear wheel cylinders.. (may have found the braking issues)

My 17" wheels are now installed with new tires. Looks better then the old hubcaps that the finish was peeling off. I still have to decide on lug covers, I may remove the covers from the old hubcaps or try to find something different. I don't want chrome as the factory alloys are not chrome.

Black lugnuts might be the ticket!

I had a great time meeting up with the_shmoo and fastsuv, even had a tour for fastsuv’s shop, very nice!

Oldblue I am going to have to look around and see what catches my eye. That has to wait till next week. Today is a family get together at my late mother's house. After the Christmas get together it is going on the market. It will be a bittersweet day.

Today a celebration at our church, the 90th anniversary of its construction in 1928. It was nice.

Ron S- Yep, I understand, there will be a range of emotions. But it is what needs done. Remember the good times.
