Yep, it's a 17mm, & as luck would have it, long ago I made a 17mm hex tool for my former S-10 for the fill plug on the standard tranny.

Perfect! Recycle the tools you already have!

Today drove over to Mother in laws , had to cut down some trees, I cut them into 18 inch lengths and stuffed the back of the HHR up to the side windows, then drove out to our friends farm, for our first long weekend, in May

Yes indeed, when I make a tool, I'll paint it so it it recognizable as a tool.. I gotta replace both idlers as well. I'm replacing the tensioner also, since it comes as a kit. Gates* brand.

Nice work on the trees, sounds like.

Great Tint, Big Difference & Looks awesome,
I have tinted most of my vehicles. Back in Fla I used to use Limo tint.

Don't know if they told you, but good to leave windows closed for about 3 days. So you don't scrub tint off opening window.

Yep , I reread your post, and yes there’s still a discount

https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/supp...-2019-a-61329/

Market place, supporting vendors, top sticky. For future reference!

Today 25 , 25 litre bags of top soil! It lowered the rear about 3/4, no bottom out.

Thank you Sleeper and
Yes they did tell me and today is only day three.... .
I didn't want the tint % to be too dark, once had a cop try to make me take the tint off
by ripping it a little at the top... and of course the tint stayed
on there.....

No special did with my HHR, today just the usual daily routine.

Happy to add my .02, better safe than sorry on a great tint job. Cops are not allowed to try & tear off or attempt to remove yer tint, They have to use their light gun for tint, it tells them the amount of light being transmitted thru the tinted glass. If yours is darker than LEGAL limit for your state, they should give you a 3 day "fix it" ticket. Giving you 3 days to come back having it corrected. (thus no ticket)
Now any windows behind the front doors (in certain states) can be darker including the rear window. But you must have 2 external mirrors. Each state has their own limits, So best to check & know your rights in your particular state..

Here's a link for legal Tint limits for each state, you just select your state, click on it & see the max limit, etc. https://tintlaws.com/
