Nice as a fan of old British cars the closest I ever got was a MG 1100 fun to drive. A great addition to the collection.

 

replaced front driver side door speaker, installed the two hard to get started shift assembly mount screws (out from last year, and broke the little black plastic door handle retainer clip in the door.

oh, and pulled all of the little rubber inserts from the cup holders, etc to clean.

 

I saw people way back when that would put a SBC (small block Chevy) into these and Thames also.
By the way nice find.

 

Went to my buddy's yard. He owns a lawn service.
Fixed an Echo bush trimmer and ordered parts for one of his Briggs powered self propelled lawn mowers.
He's a typical landscaper. Run it till it breaks.
He has more stuff for me to work on also.

Mine goes into the shop tomorrow for a "service airbag" message and warning light tomorrow. The code indicates a sensor "out of range". Could be as simple as corrosion on the contact, but it could be the sensor too.

Yesterday, we changed oil and filter, greased the swaybar endlinks, and ball joints.
Cleaned and adjusted the rear drum brakes.
Cleaned and inspected the front brakes.
switched the wheels over to my summer rims.

Today rain, all day rain. So, I’m detailing the Terrain in the garage.

 

Sigh! Another sign of old age (mine). The appointment was yesterday. I was a day late. Rescheduled.
