Sweetie loves it, my job was to clean it up and polish it , debadge it, and keep it sptopless for her.
Then, she thinks it’s so, clean! She takes Oldblue.

Not in an HHR but I did the Back of the Dragon in our toy car 32 miles many turns, then next goal is to do the tail of the dragon. It is 300 turns in 11 miles.

Steel Blue & Oldblue. Good names. I like the mags on Steel Blue. But Oldblues red on the grille looks like the ends might need repainting ?

It’s on the list , after my Honey Do list.
I’m researching the archives to learn how to merge my aluminum bar grille and the red grille, like Scott did on Morticia.

Took the HHR in for the "Service Air Bag" warning I have been having.

Turns out there is a wire in the clock spring mechanism in the steering wheel that should read below 5 ohms and it is reading 7 ohms...intermittently. A new mechanism is $300 and there is about 2 hours labour to take the steering wheel apart and replace it.

I am not too keen on my HHR right now. The shine wore off pretty quickly with the ignition key spring recall. Actually, after 35 years of being a "Chevy guy" I don't have much good to say about GM at all anymore.

Ive seen several posts by people that have replaced the clockspring themselves. The part price away from the dealerships runs between $80 to $100
