Well after getting jacked around with someone to do a headgasket I found a motor and trans with 44000 miles and a three year warranty. So I had them installed. Got the HHR back today. I have not driven it much since winter ( only to a couple different places to get fixed) Now she is rolling good. New radiator and hoses because everything had oil in them. Now I can get her cleaned up some.Boy did I miss the fuel economy.

Today , I have to go to my tire guy, picked up two nails or screws in the left rear tire yesterday . Then we’ll be off to my eye specialist for 6 month monitoring of my right eye. Boy, my Dad always said, keep an eye on things .

Rear Sway Bar

I was surprised by how much better the HHR felt after adding the KYB shocks, struts & Pedders springs. Decided to give it a little more help with a OTTP Hardcore rear sway bar...Just got back from test drive...Pretty impressive ..

Digging that Lund grille !

Two nails in in the tire, I’ll have to wait to put it back on the HHR.

Got the clock spring mechanism changed in the steering wheel today. I didn't do it, I got my mechanic to do it. Nice not having that stupid light and message on the dash. Next up, body work, as soon as the guy catches up on his collision repairs.

Turn Signal Switch

The switch came today and I installed it in about 15 minutes. What a cake walk. It took longer to get the tools out than anything :) Hoping tomorrow I can get to the u pick junkyard and get some emblems because I can NOT justify 25 bucks per !!! Heck for that I could get a new grill and debadge the back.
