Today going to Dadeland mall to stay cool. Plus raining in afternoon.

Yesterday finished changing the bad 1/4 solenoid. New LCA on drivers side. New sway bar bushing and sway bar ends. Check the rest of the driver side suspension. Next week the other side. Also changed out the old HID lights previous owner had (two different colors) with leds. Led lights all around except the small side lights in the bumper.

Hoping to take her to Sanibel Island in the next few weeks.

Hey Steve. Mind if I lend whopper those reading glasses we always talk about ? If he can't see that panic button, then he needs them more than you do

Black Swan looks good. Now lower that bumper for Hudson.

I noticed the remote listing was for 2007-2011. Will 2007 remotes work for 2006 or did they change the system?

All these HHRs look great. Got some body work to do on mine. Needs a new hood. Once the amazing curve is changed (accident from previous owner) it's impossible to correct! So new hood and some minor paint repairs.

Deciding on what after market grill to use. No insert but full replacement.

Will post some before/after pics later.

this is the only part # that comes up for me for a 3-button 06 HHR remote

this is the # that came up for Blue's 07 VIN... I guess the chips are different on the inside?

I have had 5 out of 10 HHR's that were originally purchased from Rental/Lease companies.
All had good service records.
Several had some minor repaired damage.
They usually have some Special Factory Deletes depending on which Company.
They can save money on unnecessary options.

Such as,

On Star
Spare tire
Remote start
and others

Today, drove out to Stevensville, showed Oldblue, there was a test drive and he was impressed, but he shied away because of the mileage, I pointed out his timing chain was about to give up , might be the front guide , his is a 2012 Sonic.
Well maybe someone else will take over custodial care of it.
