On my G6 I just used some plastic trim retainer plugs I bought at autozone, they can also be painted.
or just get a custom front tag made for it. I made one for the HHR wagon we bought.

Since I have a paint chip repair kit coming, I will probably use some plastic filler on mine and then use the touch-up deal on them before putting on the bra.

Got the car back from the body shop yesterday. Took a month to do a job he said would take a week, and he didn't do everything. Well, he cut me a reasonable deal and the rusty area above the passenger side real wheel has new metal, so the worst part is done. Paint is pretty close, but not perfect. 12 year old car...just drive it I guess.

Progress, not perfection, someone told me long ago..

Rains non-stop, so we missed our last Cruise show of this year today. My panel stayed in the garage..

Still raining, last I looked our rain gauge had over 4.5" in it.. Not a happy camper. This keeps up I may have to mow again soon..

Talking Forge bypass valve

Changed spring in my Forge bypass valve from 5-15 PSI to a 15-23 PSI.
What a difference in boost. I got a HP tune several weeks ago and noticed I was finding the valve dumping more than required, and losing boost pressure.
This spring upgrade made an awesome difference! Took it out for a test was getting 23-24 PSI, What a rush.....

Yesterday we left Eastham at the Coast Guard light beach at 9:00 am, we arrived home in Welland at 5:45 pm , nice smooth easy drive , set the cruise control and enjoyed the ride. The 2.4 takes the hills and steep inclines much smoother on the throttle then the ‘07 2.2 did.
And to think I was happy not having VVT or those extra ponies under the hood!

Just in case , I decide to get another project vehicle, Sweetie says I’ll require one of these kits!

The BlackSwan sitting over looking the salt pond . Waiting to roll down the road , as we head home.

Changed RF turn signal bulb #3157. 80% easier than replacing headlight bulbs. Me and my krazy bulbs LOL
