What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Still working on the 3 bar grill and started the process of modifying the outside door handles for a less protruding look.
I believe that one can be 3D printed in a good plastic/resin to look much better.
Will keep the progress posted.
AND, I'm working on a new rear hatch mod that eliminates the bowtie.

Removed starter to investigate oil leak, Suspected oil pressure switch. Not the problem.
Upon further looking I now believe the leak is coming from the oil cooler o-rings.
2006 2lt, 2.4l 10/05 birthdate.
Not looking forward to that job, BUT, it has to be done. Ordered seals from Tasca Chevrolet.
I understand that this oil cooler was used only on earlier engines.
Did Chevy rework the block to eliminate the cooler or was something else done?

Yes they did, no oil holes.
Today drive home from the land of no Wifi or cell service, it was a nice break , way up north of Sudbury, Ontario at a friends cabin in the woods, a great place for getting back to nature.

Was out "shopping" last week at my local pick and pull yard for some Blazer parts.
Leaving I scanned the tire rack and found a pair for the HHR I couldn't pass up.
A pair of FORCEUM HENA tires made in Indonesia ZR rated XL (extra load) 400 tread-wear almost new
Priced right at $43 for the pair, mounted balanced for $35 now on the back. Usually I will buy USA rubber on purpose. These priced right for a try.
Considering my next road trip if a top end speed check is in my future now that I have appropriate sneakers on all four corners.
I know as a law abiding driver exceeding the speed limit is not appropriate, but if the opportunity presents itself at a closed track under controlled conditions...
