Yeah. And now I need to get a pair of rear window struts for the wife's car. Going to cost me double now.
(I still have my old Fire Dept. helmet. Could have used that !)

Thanks for renewing with your Premium Membership . I’ve noticed a steep decline in other car sites, I’ve been on, some of those cars are not in production like our beloved trucklets. I think it’s the people on the site as a community, everyone of you are contributing to the site in one way or another.
Thank you

Today a trip to the foot doctors, got to keep them in tip top condition for when I put one or both in my mouth!
in the way home the MIL lit up, I checked with my code reader when I got home , P0014.
Now the PO had apparently replaced the VVT solenoids but I wonder if they are off shore cheap ones or good ones.
I have a timing chain set in the garage , So I ordered a few related parts and both of the solenoids from AC Delco, the least expensive was from RockAuto, even with the shipping, so I might have some work to do this weekend.

CHECK YOUR MATS FOLKS.
Yikes--my heavy duty all weather floor mat came loose from the retaining hook, and scooted forward just enough to hook on the gas pedal at WOT.
I pulled down a ramp onto the highway, and had to pour on the coal to merge into tight traffic...YIKES the throttle stuck down and I almost got to
have a BMW as a hood ornament...I didn't know at first what was happening, and couldn't risk killing the switch in fast moving traffic.
I just had to put my elbows up and drive like a nut case until I could get in a spot to reach down and pull the pedal up.( and pull over to change my pants)

These optional factory mats are hard to get clean, and the waffle shapes are crud collectors.
I would like some Weather Techs myself

Last night, mine was the drivers side. The bulbs carry a 1-year warranty and I've done this about 3 or more times in less than a year. Maybe I should change brands at $41 a pair. I always change them in pairs, but a month and a half ago, my passenger side bulb went out again and I only changed that one because we were in a hurry to go somewhere and it was dark out.
