What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
I don't know if this applies to HHR, but my Saturn had the same issue, and I found that I made an additional ground to the frame, by splicing in a ground wire to the existing one and then the bulbs have lasted (So far) over 5 years. My guess that too many grounds on one wire, because the headlights draw so much energy, plus they are more subject to power fluctuations. I also used White Lithium grease just on the tips of the contacts of the new bulbs when installing. This seems to reduce any chance of contact shock and friction shock when going over big bumps. My dad taught me that in his 66 'Stang. He swore by always using white lithium grease to the tips of plug-in electrical. Helps tremendously with reducing corrosion and oxidation.

Drove out to Fox Hat’s met up with Panel86, who traded me the Cobalt SS rims from his new to him 2009 Black panel, he also purchased my tube grille, he has a project in mind for the panel that Fox Hat sold to him.
It was a bit rushed but a visit in any form is good.
Panel86 , we’ll need pictures for sure!
Fox Hat , thank you very much for the model kit! Wow, I thought they where all gone! It’s a C1500 extended cab kit , new in cellophane. Very Cool!

Toughie surpassed 160k and to celebrate I removed the chrome door handles and installed color matched ones.
Dave - Thanx for the handles,
HHR.net - Thanx for the how-to,
AND now I have an SS rear spoiled coming.
Meanwhile the 3 bar awaits
