At the wrecking yard yesterday, there were 2 crashed HHR's. On one I found a good cold air return tube aka "woolly worm". I swapped out the torn, unraveled one on my half panel. It works good!

DIC is reading 72%... Not that I'm waiting on that, it's time. But it does show how little I've been driving this year, and it was parked most of last winter. I could toss a filter in there and top it off and be fine... but I won't.
Greybeard- I still haven't done mine yet either.. I try to get it by the 15th.. Once a year. Been trying to stay up with the yardwork. this time of year, it grows like crazy.

David- Good score, they are getting a bit harder to find, I'd say.

$10 at the local "Pick & Pull". I think that part is $60 or $70+ if you buy it new! My HHR half panel thanked me!

Cool, Very Good Score.. Yep, they are very pricey for new, & for just a hunk of hose.. These days I don't even know where a "Pick & pull" is around here..

I bet your AA5 Half Panel is happy now..

Chowser, did you check the tensioner, the pulley might have dry bearings.

today , I’m waiting for rad hose set for a friends ‘09 Ford Ranger , the lower hose sprung a leak, he thinks the coolant is original, never changed , so that will be drained the hoses and clamps replaced and the coolant.
The BlackSwan will be ready to go to the local parts palace for any extra parts required.

I like it when the timing is perfect - Changing the oil when it's not scorching hot outside or freezing cold. This oil change should get me through to early spring!
