Well roads were too bad today to make the trip. But I was able to get a couple of pics from the guys at the shop. I'm not gonna lie...I cried when I saw the pics. Then later my 🤠 said that all our memories were destroyed....I burst into tears again. I told him I was looking for another HHR. He said it would never be the same. 😭😭😭

Ok, now I see the damage as you said yeah, it’s totaled.
Are you going to buy it back for parts? Or let it go!!
Our new Marketplace has a few for sale, I think there are a few still in the old Classified Ads.

There is nothing to buy back. It's all mine as it is. I didn't have full coverage on it....just liability. I'm just going to let the storage company have it. It's costing me $45 a day while it sets there, $125 tow from the wreck and if I kept it I would have to pay another tow to get it home 70 miles away. That would be expensive. If I let it go I only have to pay the initial tow charge.

Sad, but then again you might not find another HHR, but I have a feeling you will find a nice one , out there somewhere.

Maybe there is an opportunity to pick up some parts of the car?
I'm not familiar with American reality, so sorry if I write something stupid ... Some parts are compact, but expensive, and these are quite in demand in the used parts market.
I'm talking about the battery, wheels, dashboard, passive safety kit (airbags, control unit, belts, wiring, etc.), AC compressor, generator, starter, catalyst, radiators, etc. Some of this is easily removable, others will require the experience of a mechanic and tools. It seems to me that if you are allowed to receive all this as an owner, you will recoup some of your losses.

Ronnie- What a trip, So sad to learn of this. But the HHR kept you safe, except for your arm & whatever else hurts.

Don't give up, you will find another. Will they let you get your belongings out to keep ? Usually not unless they get some $$..

I found one I would ❤LOVE❤ to have...but it's out of my budget. I just stare at it and drool. I'm thinking not many of you have seen anything like it.

This was the first pic that popped up...and I was like Wuuuut😍

Then I nearly passed out seeing the rest! 💖
