What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
uhh . . . . whats a SOM?
i finished wetsanding today and she's . . . .
oh wait! just figured it out Sunset Orange Metallic!
ok anyways . . . .i just finished wetsanding the old gal and she is getting fresh SOM () tomorrow night. I was able to drive it a bit over the weekend and i gotta say i really like the ride of these Eibachs and KYB's Not overly harsh in any way but what i would call a nice OEM performance style ride probably similar to FE5 although ive never been in an SS. Handles wayyyyy better then it ever did before. Also super quiet, i really didnt realize how noisey it was getting.

Polished finish is the only way I would open my wallet.
Yesterday, as we drove home from lunch , a weird noise started on the right front, I pulled into a closed business parking lot, and saw the problem, two loose lug nuts! I tightened all 5 and drove the rest of the way home, no noise. I retorqued all 20 lug nuts, to 100 ft/lbs to ensure they were all tight.
I must have either forgotten to torque the right front on Saturday afternoon after cleaning the engine from that oil leak.

Thanks! That pretty much matches the TPM matching process in the manual, substituting pushing a button for letting air out. Much less time and work.
It took me four tries. The thing didn’t always have any effect when I pushed the button, as if it had a weak signal or something, and I had to keep starting over. Maybe that’s why it was so cheap. Still better than messing with a compressor or taking it to the dealer.
BTW, I’m typing apostrophes, and see them in the text box originally and when I edit, but not in the post. Sometimes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
