That tensioner should not have let go, are you sure the balance shaft chain kit was replaced, not just the timing chain set?

No problem! What is the mechanic installing now? And is he tossing the old parts? You might need them for warranty replacement

Today another day of hospital visits! Sweetie is up and walking, we are still waiting the results of the biopsy on the piece of her colon that was removed. I’ll keep you posted. This was a dayI had planned on swapping tires for upcoming winter driving, but that can wait until Sweetie is home and resting in her own couch watching her own TV .

What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?

Well, drove my Chevy HHR Panel over to our last of the year Cruise-In show, & it was packed with all manner of fine rides. Temp in 70's & sunny.
Glad my ride was all detailed up nicely..

He maybe is in the Walmart parking lot, by mistake ! Just kidding, Billy!

After lunch with Sweetie in her hospital room, she was tired and sent me home, so I swapped out the summer wheels and tires for the winter set, not I have to install TPMS sensors in the summer set. I also addressed a problem with the right front headlight, the connector was loose , tie wraps fixed that!
