So, no more code after yesterday’s three test drives, today I’ll take another test drive and see what happens. I’ll have my trusty code reader ready to read a code if the CEL lights up.
I think it was weather and ambient temperature related.

Went out this morning to replace the front turn signal lamps and discovered the yellow part of the lens was melted to the point of not being able to remove the old bulbs.
Oh well. I guess that they had the incorrect bulbs installed (too hot), but those were the bulbs that came with the lights.
Time for some new ones.
Lucky me.

In your new headlights? Is it possible to contact the vendor for a warranty replacement?

They were installed in 2018 so the 1 years warranty is no more.
Time flies when you're having fun (or getting older).
Now to find the lower heat 3157? bulbs

Added one to the stable this weekend. 2008 1LT 2.2L, Imperial Blue, 58K miles, one-owner. Fell for it in a weak moment.

Need to fix the turn signal stalk that won’t latch left or cancel left & right, wondering if I should order a part or try to fix it.

Wondering what I can get for it, which will decide if I keep it or sell it. Kinda like having too many cars, but…

RPO list in the glove box has a few I couldn’t decode (from the list in the stickies.)

AK5

AP9
JJD
PCW (wheel?)
PY1 (wheel?)
R9N
SLM
1SZ
191
6AE
7AE

(None of the other codes were wheel codes. The car has 16” wheels. They appear to be OEM chrome plated.)

Thanks! Yep, definitely a 1LT, no big deal about the wheel mystery, just curious. Think the owner replaced the center caps to the tune of about $75 each. Or maybe $75 for 5.

Thank you. Is that the same list as in the stickies? I went through it but might have missed something.
