What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
A sawzall, cutoff wheel or blue flame wrench should get the job done!
Today, I just cleared off the first rear snow of the season, about 2 inches worth , then I snow shoveled the driveway, drove over to Sweetie’s Mom’s house and cleared away that driveways load of snow all 40’ X 90’ of the driveway!
Then came home, had lunch with Sweetie and now it’s naptime! 💤

Tried a more civil approach, lubed up everything with penetrating oil and a 12" pipe wrench with a 2 ft extension.... snapped off the pipe wrench on 2nd pull. time to get the big torch out and do a little flame modifying...
No snow yet and I can wait for that white fungus...

Wow, what brand? I always assumed those were made from ductile iron or cast steel.
I’ve always though 1-7/8” was a PITA not worth alleged safety benefit, because still not idiot proof. Seeing fewer of them. Switched one of my older boat trailers to 2”, now all my trailers are the same. I think. For short hops you can crank a 2” socket down to fit a 1-78” ball fairly well. Not a recommended practice.

New LED Lights
The LED head lights I ordered arrived. Man, are they bright!!! I hope I don't get pulled over for these things! The first time I get flashed with them on low beam, they're coming out, lol.
They have little cooling fans on them. A bit bulkier than stock but no problem fitting them in.
I know they're supposed to only go in one way but the driver's side kept turning instead of locking in one position. Hope they're in right!
This has become one of my favorite tools! Makes it a breeze to pull the panel fasteners.

Cheap Guy,
If you get "flashed" adjust the lights down a little.
I turned my lights on at night, walked up the street, turned around and looked into the lights.
I then adjusted them until I was comfortable with where they shined.

I’ve never been flashed with mine. They shine the same light pattern through the reflectors in the headlights, adjustment shouldn’t be needed.
Today, I prepared the lawn mower for a long winter sleep, changed the oil , drained the fuel and ran the engine out of fuel.
I then prepared the snow blower I installed a new spark plug, filled the fuel tank with gas, primped the carb and it started on the 2nd pull of the starter recoil rope.
43 years old and it didn’t puff any smoke, and idled smooth.
Then I went to the gas station in the BlackSwan for a fill up and took the gas tank for the garden equipment, that little plastic jug took $12.00 to fill! But it should last till spring.

Cheap Guy where did you get the tool for removing those 'christmas tree' fasteners?? I gotta have one!!
Harbor Freight carries them... Auto parts stores should, but I haven't looked.
