He does need a bath and a haircut. Named him "Two"
Pretty cool you are giving him a second chance ! As you said takes time to warm up to a person who knows how he was treated before !
I have been keeping a eye on the pound as well. So far no dogs yet :)
Best of luck with your new buddy !

'TWO' slept in my house last night in the laundry room with the door open.
I made the mistake of laying down beside him on the floor and then I fell asleep.
Trying to get up after a couple of hours down there hurt.
I then went to my bed, and this morning, NO LAND MINES.
I think I'm going to enjoy this little guy.

Glad Two is settling into your home. Thanks for sharing your time with Two

Rich, those shelters will have a dog for you , when the dog sees you, it’s gonna let you know you’re the guy for them.

Today, we just chilled and went out in the country for a drive, stopped for a walk and then cruised home for a nice hot chocolate. Got the kids presents wrapped for Christmas.
Next week all hells gonna break loose with Sweetie’s chemotherapy starting up .

But they work great, FYI so does a Large freezer bag lol

Went to take advantage of the nice weather for what will probably be the last spin before Spring in the SS, found the battery at only 12.1V after about 7 weeks, started and ran fine anyway, 12.6V after the run, put the battery tender on it, suppose I could just pull the battery and plan on a new one in Spring, and use the battery tender elsewhere. We’ll see. Maybe in a week I’ll disconnect it and see how quickly it drops.

Adoption contagion

I guess you dog guys (like me) spread the adoption thing thought the internet to cat people. Daughter got a cat from the cat adoption people. A cat tree fits nicely in the HHR.

Like I said, I'm more a dog person but cats can be cool too.

We adopted our cat 9 years ago , he’s on the window ledge keeping an eye on the leaves blowing by!
We have a high wind warning with a stay at home advisory till tomorrow, so I didn’t do anything but park it in the driveway out of range from our cedar tree. Just in case!
