Especially after 16 years.
However, if you still want it I will send it to you.
I'll even include the airbag.
Just cover the cost of shipping.
Thanks for the offer but I'm good. I'd like to see what the sun does to cars in AZ, like salt does to cars in our area so when you post a picture, post one of the old wheel.

Good to see you back on the site, Ronnie!
It was a cheap tire made by Douglas. I have no idea how old they are. The jerk I bought it from said they were new tires. But then he also said he bought it from his Grandpa. He didn't buy it from his grandpa...a truly unnecessary lie to sell a car.

@Oldblue I'm pretty confident I hit a whole in the road.

Glad to be able to pop back on thank you...miss y'all!

Out running errands...

Went out to run errands this morning after work. I never look good after work...dirty and sometimes limping. An older man held the door open for me...I could kinda sense him giving me the once over. He said..."nice car". I thanked him...then laughed to myself. The car is covered in dust from last weeks wind storm. I think the man needs an eye check up on both accounts!

Oh, come on now, he was just being polite.

Today , I drove my HHR, over to the store , I shopped for fruit and vegetables, milk and cheese. Then I cruised about 30 miles just cause!
Sweetie wasn’t feeling well, so she took a very rare midday nap 💤, unusual for her.

Ran mine 40 miles down south to get some parts for another project, then the rains began.. So much for clean ride.

But did put 80 miles on her on super-slab. Good exercise for my Panel.

It’s not what I did to my HHR, but what I did for my HHR. This flimsy bag basically falling apart and the cables will not stay contained in the bag. Local hobby store had this convenient container. Now to investigate another oil leak. I suspect it’s the oil filter cap gasket again.

I just received a new one on Tuesday, for my next oil change, I always replace the o ring , but it is only plastic and is 10 and a half years old!

Cap and filter with shipping was $1.75 cheaper then buying the cap and filter up here! Thanks RockAuto!

Today, a trip to the house to inspect and clean up leaves. Then off to the Niagara River for a walk. Maybe if Sweetie’s up to it we’ll stop for a coffee!

Yes, I discovered on my last oil leak that the O-Ring was missing entirely. Replaced with new filter cap (came with O-ring) and it fixed the problem. I need to take the cap off to look at the O-ring and look around underneath.

Check the oil pressure sensor and the harmonic balancer seal in the front engine cover.
