Meh. Two weeks is no excuse for a thermostat to stick.

You could double check the coolant level (just because) but even the AC Delco is not infallible. Why not just monitor the temp on the DIC for awhile?

Coolant level under the rad cap is full, the coolant recovery tank is at tge correct level, I be set the DIC to coolant temperature. Will monitor for a couple of days. I have another new 131-158 thermostat here just in case.

Nope no E85 , I didn’t take that HHR to Florida.
I went out this morning, washed the BlackSwan, dried it off, cleaned the windows, watched Sweetie hop in to go to an appointment, she came back an hour later, CEL was back on, P0128, new thermostat ordered, $50.00 CDN at RockAuto, $148.00 CDN plus taxes here at GM parts counter or local parts store that sells AC Delco. So I ordered a couple of oil filters and an air filter for her Terrain and still with shipping was only $110.00
and I didn’t forget the discount code!!
