it doesn't hurt to adjust alignment with the vehicle loaded with the amount of weight it will be mostly have during the drives. As a... well lets say a maximum capacity guy, mine was aligned with 380 lbs in the front seats and the alignment was set that way. makes a big difference in handling and tire wear.

next up is brakes for me. Since I am no longer working, I can now make a tank of fuel last 3 weeks instead of 3 days...

P0122 came back after a new battery was installed.
So I went to the search threads section and found a thread on harness chafing.
( Speakin of thread searching, is there any way to default to the "Google" search.)
Sure enough, the harness was chafing on the EVAP bracket.
Not sure if that was the problem but addresses it anyway
Repaired as much as I could and added another layer of chafe protection.
Now to find out if the issue is fixed.

Check your Throttle position sensor

If the chaffed wire insulation fix didn’t work.

Today we took a drive and stopped for a walk and a coffee in Ridgeway, Ontario. It is cold out there again! Nearly 80F last Friday and 42F today with a wind! Brrr!

Today a follow up with my eye specialist, no change in last two years, all is good for now. And still a follow up in 6 months.
We took a cruise picked up some groceries, had lunch.
The UPS driver delivered the axle shaft seal kit, so I’ll be busy tomorrow.
I’m dropping off the summer wheels for new tires. Then in the afternoon install that kit .

Yesterday , when I released the TPMS for the summer tires , I noticed my new headlights don’t have the amber lens in front of the turn signal, I could clearly see the white light and the amber signal light of my switchback bulbs. We drove out to dinner, and drove home in the darkness of our rural area, first night drive since I changed the headlights, very good night illumination, no flashings from oncoming cars.

White running light on, no amber lens

Thanks for the assistance and your expertise Oldblue in changing out the 2 shift solenoids in my HHR today.
Job done in 4hrs, great companionship and fun day. Learn something every time we work on these trucklets.
Found the 12mm nut.
Coffee and lunch the least I could do.
