Toiday I had some runs to make, so hit my favorite touch less car wash, & somehow my antenna (stubby) got broken.. Only about 14 years old.

Good I still have the stock one till I get another stubby.

This morning, reviewed front suspension, the driver’s side inner tie rod in loose and clunks when turning either direction, musta been the same or a new pothole. Parts are ordered, sad the clearance parts at RockAuto are the same manufacturer and part number as a parts palace up here , RA clearance price $4.50 each , my parts counter guy quoted me this morning $106.00 both in CDN funds. My GM guy quoted Genuine GM part at $108.00 . The RA part wins!

One of those days...CEL came on as I was driving up to the cities, temp gauge never came off the peg, and dash temp showed -----. I reset the error code, something about a thermostat temp something.. it did not return and the temp gauge and readout started working again...

And the brakes started pulsing a bit worse than before. Time for some new pads, rotors, drums and shoes. 202xxx miles so it is probably due anyhow.

Upgrade your front brakes

https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/brak...ard-hhr-42938/

You still use your OEM calipers , order brake rotors and caliper brackets for a 2009 non Brembo SS same ceramic brake pads as your stock setup.

The code… was it P0128? Order a new AC Delco 131-158 thermostat, and change the Dexcool

Today we had a picnic at Frenchmens Creek, near Fort Erie

Themostat and coolant was replaced a year ago, temp is right around 178 with AC on and 83 degrees while cruising at around 70 MPH. Just had oil changed and I think they knocked something loose. worked fine on the 73 mile drive home.

Brakes I ordered are ceramic pads for the front, with new rotors, new drums for the rear with stock shoes.. I should be set!
With the front wheels off, I will be checking front end components, but they were replaced with Moog last fall too. Ya don't know until ya know I guess,
