of course, pay off the car, get the title in hand... and now something feels off...no codes, but I feel a slight hesitation/un-smoothness while accelerating, mostly (from what I've noticed) when cold... gonna see if my mechanic friend can come over on Fri and go for a ride with me

it's always something

Dirty MAF or throttle body? Loose under hood fuse box bolts! Dirty air filter? These all come to mind. How many miles on the odometer?

Today I discovered the dreaded wet carpet on the passenger side floor.
Used compressed air and blew out the AC drain from the engine bay side.
Was surprised by how much water came out.
Thanks again to this site for fixing issues.
New blower motor will be here Saturday and since I changed it out several years ago, it should be no problem.

Just got my ride back after a 'stance enhancement'!
New:
CV Axles
Moog Tie Rod Ends
Moog Ball Joints
KYB Shocks GR-2 Excel G
KYB Strut Plates
KYB Strut Bellows
Mevotech Sway Bar Links & Bushings
Eibach Springs

Rides really smooth and tight. A million times smoother than the mini-truck I had 30 years ago LOL. I still have that one annoying rattle on the highways and railroad tracks, but it is not nearly as bad. I suspect it's the steering rack...

Great combo for a tight ride and stance. Check the swaybar frame bushings

Can you put a six foot ladder or 2x4 in there and close the hatch like the HHR?
Haven't tried, but pretty sure it will. rear seats fold nice and flat like the HHR
