2011 2 2 100K, running great, slight 2-second rattle at startup once in awhile, so I pulled the valve cover. Chain tight, everything looks great... until I look down where the front guide is supposed to be. The upper bolt looks lovely, but the guide has left the chat.

Was thinking about chains anyway. Program has accelerated. Car is parked. ZZP upgraded guide in stock. More parts on the way. Should be completed by the end of the week.

( This is the one with the wonky right front window, BTW. Don't know which will be fixed first. Could the chain problem have caused the window problem? )

Pick N pull felt like Christmas morning

Went to pick n pull for the first time, I was surprisingly satisfied with what I pulled.

Couple years ago I backed into a sign and never could justify repainting. I found the same year and paint code replacement bumper (see photo)

Replacement rear seat folding knobs (both of mine were sheared)

Oil fill tube (ruined mine removing the air filter).

Rubbers I was missing for the cup holders and door pulls

Extra shelf for the trunk

Spent $90 total!

Because the 40 is too thick at operating temperature, or because the 0 is too thin when cold?

Both.

today was treatment # 22, then after the last meeting with the radiologist ( he’s on vacation till mid September) then we went for lunch at our favourite Greek restaurant in Niagara Falls.

Neighbor is running Walmart's Super Tech oil, He has no issues, uses it in the truck, mower & all his stuff..
It's made by big oil companies for wally world.. Price making me think.

I'm packing some precious stuff in mine today, going to put in storage, till I land the best spot, divorce by the evel one.. Gotta start over after 30 years of time with this crazy one.

Today more treatments and then it’s the weekend! Perhaps a drive in the country side!

Thanks Blue, Actually NOT looking. Need some me time.. Looking forward to scoring nice place on good sized bit of land, & set up my work place again,.
