Just had a great visit from Oldblue. Discussed many things HHR related and others, did some noise investigating re: my front end and hopefully
narrowed it down to CV joints or tires.
Thanks Steve, looking good considering what you're going thru.
Stay well. Positive thought produce positive results.

Today after a trip for provisions, I scuffed the right rear 1/4 panel, applied rust converter, etching primer and colour coat then clear coat. Hopefully that’ll keep the tin worms at bay till the spring.

It’s invigorating to get stuff done, without hurrying to get to the clinic !

Nope I just got the urge to work on the BlackSwan again!

I’ll tackle the bolts for my headlights one day next week.

Tried to replace the brake shoes on my 2009 LT. Turns out I have shoes from a 2010?!? Got pissed off and had to walk away for the day. We'll try again tomorrow.

These are the parts I was sold. https://www.autozone.com/brakes-and-...ake-shoes-795/
These are the parts that I needed. https://www.autozone.com/brakes-and-...ake-shoes-800/

Today, just for grins and giggles, I put my chrome plastic over aluminium 17” winter rims out in the 80 degree sunlight and that loosened up the adhesive enough, I could use two pry bars to separate the plastic cover from the rim.

After I removed the cap, I’ll clean this up and see if I can just clear coat it or paint them black or maybe gunmetal

With the ugly chrome over plastic cap
