She occasionally posts still, but it's usually "water leaks" or similar.... never seen her get involved with SS issues.

That's Michelle. I thought about contacting her. But didn't. She was just online the other day and posting.

Have you tried a Catylized Clear Coat over them like maybe Imron?

Imron was used mainly on Semi Tractor Trailers and is very Tough and chip resistant.

There are other Clears that also use a Hardener mixed it you could try.

Or if you don't have the spray guns and such needed, you could take them to a bodyshop just for the clear coating with Hardener.

They might last longer.

Stopped by the dealer today to pick up a set of sway endlinks any body want a set ? Thought I'd point at a couple problems while I was there, my drivers door has rubbed on the running board so when you open door you can see it, and the front carpet has a bald spot probably where the provious owner had the costco floor mats. Service guy says have to show to the boss.Boss comes out looks around it says did you buy it from us, I did,He says fix it. So the service guy jumps in we run down the drive and up the next drive to the body shop and scheduled it,Service guy says they will give me a HHR for loaner hope its a panel want to try one for work.

Is the door fit off or is the skirt warped? I'd be concerned that they fix the underlying issue and then fix the paint, rather than just repainting the offending area so it wears through again.
