Took the door panel off and greased the window channels. Good as new, I guess.

1) Finally added amp #2 and #3 (front doors/rear doors).
2) Added IPOD connection to my AVH-P4200DVD (replaced USB-hard drive with Ipod...soooo much faster access)
3) Added hidden cooling fan for amps.

Woke up yesterday to the very first nice day we've had here in what seems like years--and I was sick as a dog. It actually made me feel worse to look outside and see blue skies and sunshine, so I just went back to bed. Oh, well, maybe next Sunday.

drove by the dealership to get a spare key cut (no one wants to touch my Ebay-sourced blanks ) and the fobs reprogrammed. Put the mudflaps on along with the rear bumper protector, painted "the turtle" with hi-temp black paint (the stuff for BBQ grills) and went to put an oval chrome tip on the exhaust pipe and found that i got one that was just a tad too small to clamp on. So it will be back to AutoZone tomorrow. (Guess I'm focused on making her butt purty, as the E85 emblem is gonna go but i haven't decided on the fate of the HHR and LT emblems yet.)

Finally got around to installing the LED map lights and festoon. Just in case anyone was wondering....stock 194's and festoons get FRIGGIN HOT when you are playing with the plate light LED's for 10 min. "Ah, it's just a little bitty light, it couldn't be that bad". Horseshiza! I burnt the crap outta my finger :) Guess that's what you get for being dumb.

Speaking of dumb. The rear dome light housing could possibly be the most ignorant, poorly thought out, raggedy, sorry azz'd POS design ever. Can't get it after a while? Punch it real hard and it'll go into place.

Rant over, LED's in, looking fly
