My ticket is for $120. The $190 I stated was $70 for end links plus $120 for the ticket. I had pulled onto the highway, was accelerating, and was actually in the process of setting the cruise at a target speed of 63 or 64 (60mph zone). I saw the officer on the side of the road as I approached, and when I went by I watched him in my rear view. I saw him light up and pull out, and I'm thinking, "You've GOT to be kidding me!" In my opinion it's obvious Revenue Enhancement, but what do you do? I can (and will) always avoid that stretch of road in the future when visiting my friend. Small town (Sardinia, OH) won't be getting any more funds from me, either through 'law enforcement', or business and sales taxes.

WoW, Lunchbox.......

That is really mangled. Just curious......did you use it "according to Hoyle" or did you stretch the use.....just a little.

If you used it correctly, I would contact GM/Chev. and make them aware. There is definitely a safety factor there.

Glad you are OK and the car of course.

yeah, as for the jack, i was using it properly ( read the thread on jack placement prior to using stock jack ), but my suspension is highly modified, so it's probly not GM's fault. GarageBuilt had the same issue with jack too, just too low i guess

Anyways, you can also see my exhaust hanging in the background. i bolted on the headers, 3" hi-flo cat'd down pipe, and glass pack for a resonator. i'm gettin the cat-back custom fabricated tomorrow, with more pics and videos expected

Glad you're OK lunchbox.

I never trust a factory jack for anything but changing a flat tire, otherwise they can be accidents waiting to happen.

Took a co-worker home, and on the return trip used my lights and positioning to stop traffic to prevent a fully engulfed car from blowing up, and doing damage to the cars driving up wanting to get by..
