Haha Sam the tires are already bald, have been for 2 months plus. Ordered tires the friday before it broke this last time.

Kevin: Yeah I am planning on going Saturday to look at the 7.0rs, I emailed a dealership about a 8.0rs Voodoo blue tonight too.

I forgot how much I miss having power, even if the SS is still such a drop from the GTO, but having something not breaking weekly would be nice.

Oh, driving still hurts like hell especially working the gear shift, oh Mommy!

My parents bugged out this morning from Folly Island SC, they have arrived in Kannapolis, so they are safe and sound...hopefully Irene won't make off with their house on Saturday.
I have family in Columbia. They said only the northern part of the SC coast is expected to take a hit from the storm. Folly is down near charleston isn't it?

Congrats. I know what you mean going without power. I have been without my SS for over a week now. They should have my new engine in the first part of next week.

Yeah mroney, Folly Island is a bit south of Charleston and they were given the order to evacuate due to its low lying nature. If my memory serves me right, the highest point on Folly is about 12 feet above sea level, so a storm surge is a bad deal even with houses on stilts and pilings.

Gee whiz Julie, so you got it back at last. Maybe just maybe it will continue running long enough to trade it in on a...sigh...Scion.

Hope your parents home survives and it good to be sure they do. Best wishes.

I think the only storm that caused me problems was Agnus.... I live up a hill, but have a river for a front yard.

Mike: I hope it makes it through the work day today, and to the dealership tomorrow. We didn't even drive it last night my guy is so worried it will break again before I can get rid of it.

Todays Plans with HHR: Cross fingers and go to work, swining by dealership on way in though since I forgot my garage door opener on the visor in the rental.

Glad to see you have your SS back. What was the repair done that they believe was the problem?
