More like what I'm having done to my HHR, cooling my heels at the dealership while Boo Boo gets an oil change(OK DIY guys don't get up in arms here, service is free and I take full advantage of it), tire rotation, engine air filter, rear brake adjustment(new service writer looked perplexed at my request until the other service writer filled him in), and state inspection.

Got the customer waiting room to myself so the TV is set to Speed, the coffee is good, the donuts are fresh, and the WiFi is working nicely....added to the sunny skies and 70 degree weather, its a great day so far.

Chuckies Garage is not so frilly, however we did get the oil changed, with the stuff I got on sale at O"Rileys , and Discount Tire gave another go at balancing the tires, I could swear they have three right now. Only need one more balanced. How about 49 and sunny ??

A set of tires for the HHR: Cooper Lifeliner GLS. A "moderately" priced tire at $150/tire after all was said and done. Somehow I never considered a $150/tire a moderate price.

The Goodyear Assurance Max had to go as they had gotten scalloped from a suspension issue years ago. The suspension (shocks and struts were replaced) but once scalloped, the noise those scalloped tires made had to go.

That was the tattoo artist at work! Really nice guy. Wish all of you could witness 50 plus HHRs at one place. On that note...I love seeing just two of them next to each other! Todd(Uma)

They want $162/tire for the Firestone Affinity Touring that came as original equipment. I think I'll find something a little bit cheaper when the time comes to replace them lol. I had Cooper's on the Alero and I will say they are good tires imo.

Ate too many donuts at the Chevy dealer, then headed off to party HQ to monitor election returns, turnout was down as expected, amazing how folks will piss and moan about the government and then not bother to vote. UGH!
