haha, you know me Todd, put off a 30-minute job for a couple years. nah, i just kept forgetting about it really. i found some pins that'd work so i didn't have to butcher the stock wiring (i can go back to a stock switch with ease), so i ordered them late last week, they came on Thursday, so i figured i should get it done before i actually need the hazards for something lol

got the jumper cables out of mine, and had to get the S10 outta storage (thankfully there's no snow on the ground right now!).
kid had a dead battery and needed a jump, but for some reason I can't get a good connection off the HHR for jumping.
i've gone to the connections under the hood and even tried directly from the battery in the back.
anyone else have this problem?

I stopped doing the car to car jump start years ago. With the complexity of modern vehicle electronics and the potential for damage to those somewhat pricey components, I've been using a portable jumper for the last 20 years or so.

Look at your left front strut tower Sam, you should see a "-" next to one of the strut attachment nuts.
As for my HHR's today, they all stayed parked. My back was telling me it didn't feel the greatest yesterday before I washed and detailed Paddy and the Spousmobile. Today it told me that I wasn't doing much more than taking it easy and inhaling Vicodin for the pain.
Michelle took pity on me and made fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits, for a French girl she does Southern Comfort Food like a pro.
