UPS just dropped off the Thrush Turbo Muffler.

I wonder how much a muffler shop charges to swap out a muffler these days?

And where do you get High Quality exhaust tips from?
Last time I had a muffler shop put one on from their stock it wasn't what I would call Quality.

I spent about 5 hours in the garage last night to the early hours of this morning sanding and buffing on the Supercharger.

Hand sanding lots of Tough areas until my thumb and a couple finger tips were raw and bleeding. Still ALOT more to go, but it will be worth it having a fully mirror polished M62 Supercharger on Morticia's 2.4.

Getting a TASTE of SPRING here today, 64 Degrees and breezy. Back in the upper 40's tomorrow.

I should be out hand washing Morticia, but my fingers are raw and sore.

Looking at these Emblems, can't decide which color to order? Red, Black, or the Blue?

black, Got price up to 450.00 for labor, the guy who did it was 150.00. The muffler guy's know where to order the good tips. The higher quality the easier they are to care for.

these look good. http://www.assuredautomotiveproducts...B.qscstrfrnt03

That was for doing your "dual' setup right?

I will just be swapping out the OEM muffler for the new one, and a good Tip on it. I actually like the OEM tip.

And your right, the better the tip the longer it lasts and easier to keep looking New.

Installed the Dejon short ram intake on mine this afternoon, then went and had the front wheels aligned(lowered the SS 1.5"). Also ran through the touchless car wash just to get some of the salt off of it.

Cleaned a 2" high pile of pidgeon $€£# (droppings) off of the hood. Washed and waxed Sunday after a week of intermittent drizzle. Time to break out the bb gun...LOL

A bb gun or one of those plastic statues of an owl, the ones that are about 2 feet tall. The ones that are light enough to move a just a little bit when the wind blows. You have to change its location now and then so the pidgeons don't get used to it.

Man, that is big. You must have some big pidgeons in CA. Or could it have been a seagull?
