Drove Boo Boo to my office, had a meeting with the Mayor(where my butt fell asleep twice in 3 hours....cripes he can talk the paint off the walls), then came home to spend a pleasant 30 minutes removing the deceased Kudzu bugs from the Boo-Mobile's front end.

Good old Meguiar's instant detailer, and Griot's glass cleaner(), those stinky little bugs are out in droves since our summer started early, splat splat splat....yuck!

Got the driver's side mirror replaced.
Slapped mirrors with someone that was avoiding an obstacle on her side last week.
Her hubby said get it done and F*** insurance, get the receipt to him and he'll pay cash.
He's well known and the cop said I could trust him. He's the fire chief.

$125 for OEM mirror assembly
$50 for paint
$75 to install

$250 sounds high but it's done right for no co$t to me

How...Sneeze!...Could I? This time of year my California duster gets quite a workout, once in the morning, then when I leave the office, and once before I start the delightful "Bug Splat Remediation Process"....yuck!

Filled the tank.

Shell V-Power Premium 93 octane

$4.58 a gallon. $65.51 to fill it up.

Turned 25,000 miles on my Panel, they pile up fast don't they?

Do you really see any difference running premium? I used to run premium in my 2001 S-10 but that was only because I had to with the Hypertech Programmer I had.

I put my first full tank of gas in yesterday...14 gallons @ $3.63 a gallon. Just over $50 to fill it up and the miles to empty read 400!

The 2.4 actually calls for it. Will it run on lesser gas? Sure, but there must be a reason GM wants the better gas used in the 2.4's.
The 2.2 engine can use reg unleaded I believe.

I'll be installing a Eaton M-62 Supercharger (Blower) this year and it will Require Premium. And Synthetic oil like Mobile1.
