Finally got out of the house...err...condo this morning, drove Paddy to the Doctor's office for a followup visit, I didn't exactly get a clean bill of health....but I do feel better and I'm cleared to resume a limited schedule next week...yay!

Even though it was only an 18 mile round trip, it felt so good to be behind the wheel after a few days, I don't deal well with cabin fever combined with being sick. One more day cooped up watching The Price is Right and I swear I was going to start licking the wallpaper.

Glad you are feeling better. Everyone in our house seems to be getting better after the strep battle last week.

Glad to hear your family is recovering from the Strep deal, that stuff is no fun at all.

So, what's the "Mod Du Jour" for today and the weekend, have to be honest....I've lost track the last couple of days, you're modding at breakneck speed chef.

Glad to hear 843de and ChefHHr... bout your health issue's !

What did i do to my Hhr today.....

I changed both headlamp capsules. I had the low beam

go out on me tues morning doing my news papers.

Thanks to every one who posted how they changed theirs

in the past or suggested links on how to do it.

As almost every one said to watch for the red gasket,

both stayed in place.

Well lets see, I'm doing the full wiper delete and painting my beauty bar tomorrow after work...CM springs installing on Saturday followed by a trip to the tire shop for an alignment I'm sure

Honestly after that I'm taking a break. We have a trip planned for the end of the month and I want to start recovering financially from that before I do anything else. I plan to hit the lighting at some point but not in a hurry for that right now.

So I decided to pick up some lunch and it's funny because up until this past week, I never had to leave for lunch because we had a girl in the office that always picked up our lunch. She got canned on Friday so now if I want a burger I have to go myself...anyways...

...so I leave work and pull out, get up to about 35-40 on our back road and I had a kamakazi bird dive into my freshly painted 3-bar modded grill. Feathers went everywhere so I knew it took a good lick. I pulled over and got out and there was feathers all in the mesh on the grill but the grill itself looks to be untouched. I think it hit just the mesh and pushed it in. I've got to go out after lunch and pull the feathers out and see if I can push the mesh back into place. Here's a pic for your enjoyment!
