Left them all parked, relaxing and watching Indy(Congrats to Dario!), then watching the 600 from over at the speedway(Go Harvick!).

In other words, a nice quiet day.

Bummer about the plate frames Greybeard, road salt/chloride just eats stuff up.

Salt wouldn't have been anywhere near this damage if any, this new stuff they use now @&$#% me off. We had a mild winter, and I don't drive much, so there was very little exposure to the stuff.... Whatever, it was enough.

OT: I did change MoonEyes decal on the back... I need a new set of photos here soon.

Just got done with my first 300 mile trip. Averaged 33mpg and it was a mixture of highway and back roads...mostly highway. Bottomed out on a few dips but overall a nice ride.

I need to wash my rig after this weekends roadtrip. Went up north for a few days. 490 miles and got 28mpg which wasn't too horrible considering it was uphill most of the way and the higher up you get the more ups and downs you have. On the flats I was averaging 36-38mpg at 70mph.

I had her stuffed full and 2 adults and 1 child. So probably almost 500lbs of extra weight with all the junk we had in there including 2 coolers filled with food

HOT and Sunny here, 97 degrees it has been all day, still is.

Been outside all day working on the new to us 2000 Chevy Malibu.

Backed it out of the driveway the other day, and heard a CLUNK sound. Later pulled it back in, had to get my Trailer out to haul some stuff so investigated it this morning, sitting low on the drivers front, spring cracked, went and bought a pair of Monroe Quick Struts and swapped them out, both sides.

Pulled out the small carpet extractor I have and cleaned the carpet and the seats. Looks much Better now.

Morticia sat and watched me work on her Winter replacement all day.

It will be nice not having to drive her in the damn Salt and let her stay clean all winter.
Spring cleaning her after Winter driving is a Long process polishing everything back up to show ready.

Fixed a crazy door gap, which stopped the howling @ highway speeds. Also clay barred the HHR for what I believe was the first time ever.

Didn't want to double post pic's, so you can see the photos and more info here
