What did you trade in for your HHR?

I traded in a '96 voyager rallye. What a piece of junk! Just about 300,000kms. wipers never worked right, leaky fuel tank filler, air cond. was shot, rebuilt the trans, rebuilt the bottom end of the motor because the air cond. compressor siezed and tore the harmonic balancer off the crankshaft, braking it too! door handles not working, yada yada yada. So, the last mopar I owned was a '68 sports fury. I think the van was my last one....ever!

I traded a 2004 Mercedes-Benz C240 which I owned for only 4 months.Got thousands less in trade than I owed on it so my new 2007 HHR LS is really costing me a lot.
I am pleased with the HHR and I don't have to worry about repairs for at least three years, so I don't think I am ever going to regret the decision to buy it.

Trade for my HHR
I traded my 2001 Chevy Cavalier with 135K on it. The a/c was on the fritz and the cars computer was dying. The a/c would not work after reaching 40 mph and the car would get sluggish over 65 mph.

Traded in a 1995 Ford Escort. The little purple coupe served the family well from the day my mom bought the car new until she gave it to me when she stopped driving. It started to give us trouble of late and was getting expensive to repair. It also had that silly automatic lap belt on it and that stopped working and I kept hitting my head on the attachment thingy which stopped in the middle of the door track. I'll miss it. The HHR has been a wonderful car.

I traded my 2000 S10 extended cab stepside. It had 149K on it, I bought it in 2004 for $300 needing a trans and alternator. Drove it 3 years and didn't lose a penny at trade in, including all repairs and upgrades. It never broke down. LS

Didn't read all the other posts but here's one I'm guessing is unique in this thread: 2005 Triumph Rocket III (ended up with one more cylinder but 100cc LESS displacement!)
Still have 2 motorcycles but I needed a car so one of the bikes had to go.

I traded in my '02 Audi A6 w/4.2l V-8 with 62000 miles. I only owned it for 6 months, and I got sick of dumping money into the Euro-trash money pit.
I originally bought it for a reliable, dependable, German engineered driving machine...all it ended up being was a waste of time, money and continued frustration. I'm soooo glad I'm done with it. I look forward to many miles and smiles with my new handsome, American friend.
