2000 S10 which is sorely missed by my wife and I.

We should have just kept the truck and Still got the HHR.
She was dead set on not getting another red vehicle...you see how well that turned out.

Sold off two cars, an '01 Mustang GT (80k miles) and a '99 Jeep Cherokee Sport (140k miles). Both in excellent condition with plenty of life left in them but I was looking to pare down to one daily driver that would blend the fun of the Mustang with the utility of the Jeep all while affording better gas mileage. I looked at and drove a lot of different makes and models and the HHR SS was the only thing that came close to filling my requirements. The RAV4 Sport with V6 came close but was much pricier and the dealers were less inclined to bargain on one.

Sadly some Zoom, Zoom!
Sadly and with regret my 2007 Mazda CX 7...sorry, but Chevy's just don't compare to Mazda's.....Mazda's are way more fun, have better handling, better quality interior parts....just a step above....just two very different vehicles. I always liked the HHR styling and utility and price was what I wanted to spend...that was all that made me get it. I could not afford my Mazda any longer...very upsetting. I am trying to adjust and have fun with the HHR. I have an 06 HHR LT Sunburst orange. I added pinstripes, stubby antenna, dash kit, "Hotrod" chrome emblem, orange HHR vinyl decal overlay for the Bowtie emblem, window vents, HHR lettering on door panels....

I am going to resurrect this old thread, which I haven't ever seen before. My last car was this 2002 Buick Regal LS. It wasn't really that bad of a car. It had the 3800 V6 motor in it, and it has 97,000 miles. That thing sure liked gas a lot though. Over the year and a half I had it, I had a hard time getting better than 20 mpg in the mixed driving that I do. I'm 18 and I was hoping that my next car that would be a little bit less "grandma-ish". I've always liked the HHR ever since it came out. I always thought, "Oh I'd love to have one of those." Now I do, and I like it a lot. It is serving me very well so far.
